Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop backend features and services for distributed systems on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
•Implement backend components for automated cluster lifecycle management, provisioning, and configuration workflows.
•Develop and maintain CI/CD automation, tooling, and pipelines to support continuous delivery and testing.
•Troubleshoot and debug issues across Linux systems, Kubernetes controllers, virtualization layers, and hardware nodes.
•Design and maintain backend APIs (REST/gRPC) including schema definition, service-to-service communication, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 157,248 - 195,680 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Communications Engineering or related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
•Five (5) years programming in Go or Python and building distributed, large-scale backend systems.
•Experience developing Kubernetes-based platform features, including controller-runtime patterns, reconciliation loops, CRDs, and OpenShift extensions such as Machine API and cluster operators.
•Four (4) years working with virtualization/cloud platforms, including VMware vSphere and Nutanix Prism Central, plus experience with bare-metal systems or Linux system-level debugging.
•Three (3) years building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, specifically Prow and Jenkins.
