Job Summary

Lead a multi-disciplinary climate and ESG team delivering climate risk assessment and practical adaptation/resilience strategies for infrastructure and business clients across the UK and EMEA. Strengthen climate resilience service offerings, win and deliver commercially successful programmes, and develop talent through line management and mentoring. Work across sectors such as transport, water, energy, government, and urban regeneration using your expertise in climate observation/projection interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage commercially successful projects while maintaining high-quality professional outputs.
•Strengthen the company’s position in climate change risk assessment and adaptation strategies for infrastructure and business clients across the UK and Europe.
•Develop climate change resilience service offerings with practical solutions for collaborative projects and external clients.
•Contribute to business growth by winning work across infrastructure sectors and government services throughout the UK and EMEA region.
•Develop talent through line management, mentoring, and support for colleague upskilling in climate change resilience and adaptation.

Key Requirements

•Experience developing climate change resilience and adaptation strategies at an organisational level, including interpreting climate observation and projection data.
•Experience in climate change risk assessment for infrastructure systems and assets, developing/designing engineered and natural adaptation solutions.
•Experience advising infrastructure sectors such as transport, water/wastewater, waste, energy, urban infrastructure, and government/local government.
•Proven track record winning and delivering climate change risk assessment and adaptation strategies for infrastructure, urban/regional and/or business clients in the UK and overseas.
•Experience delivering climate change adaptation projects, with strong understanding of how infrastructure interventions, spatial planning and governance improve sustainability and resilience.
