Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform software and/or hardware design activities to support flight training device modification requirements using established engineering standards.
  • •Install, verify, test, integrate, and document new or modified software and hardware designs.
  • •Assess modification requirements to improve training realism and correct discrepancies or anomalies, including workload estimate translation from technical requirements.
  • •Execute scope analysis, design, implementation, testing, and final system integration for assigned simulator projects.
  • •Support qualification and regulatory compliance by maintaining MQTGs, conducting QTG test runs, tracking discrepancy resolution, and developing required documentation; provide leadership to entry-level/intermediate team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or a related technical discipline, or a two-year technical degree with equivalent relevant experience.
  • •1–3 years of experience coordinating projects and managing technical work activities.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • •Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and/or Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • •Working knowledge of FORTRAN, C/C++, and/or Assembly programming languages.
