Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform a wide range of general labor duties on a road construction project on a heavy highway crew or production crew.
  • •Shovel, rake, move materials, and set and clean concrete forms as needed.
  • •Assist with traffic control.
  • •Pour concrete and vibrate as required by the project.
  • •Maintain good housekeeping and comply with safety regulations on every project.

Key Requirements

  • •Prior experience in heavy highway construction is preferred.
  • •Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and pass required physical examinations.
  • •Knowledge of basic tools and their uses, plus basic math and measurement skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication).
  • •Prior construction experience is preferred.
  • •Maintain reliable attendance, meet company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
