Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time while obeying traffic laws and observing safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment as needed, including managing skids and returning equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain required delivery paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and perform routine vehicle checks; report maintenance malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for the vehicle weight.

  • •Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record.
  • •Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills, speaking professionally with customers and staff at delivery points.
  • •Must meet physical requirements, including prolonged sitting in a trailer cab, lifting/moving up to 40 pounds, and the ability to travel frequently.
