Job Summary

As a Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer (L1), you’ll serve as the first point of contact for clients, monitoring infrastructure and responding to incidents and service requests. You’ll investigate and resolve standard, low-complexity issues using ITSM and knowledge articles, perform maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes, and support disaster recovery functions. Working across domains such as Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, and Collaboration, you’ll ensure zero missed SLA conditions and smooth handovers.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the first point of contact, ensuring client IT infrastructure and systems remain operational.
•Monitor client infrastructure and solutions, identifying problems and errors before or as they occur.
•Investigate and resolve first-line incidents and service requests using telephonic support, ITSM tickets, or chat.
•Perform maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes, supporting seamless shift handovers.
•Contribute to disaster recovery functions and tests, and report/escalate incidents when necessary to meet SLA requirements.

Key Requirements

•Entry-level experience troubleshooting and supporting security, network, data centre, systems, or storage in a medium-to-large ICT organization.
•Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes.
•Strong discipline in handling tickets daily, following defined SOPs and responding promptly.
•Ability to resolve tickets using available knowledge articles or provided SOPs.
•Good understanding of using ITSM tools and the ability to plan activities and adapt to changing circumstances.
