Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure safety procedures are followed and report unsafe working conditions or mechanical safety problems to the Shift Supervisor.
  • •Understand the product line and identify potential product defects that may affect function or application.
  • •Perform production verifications and visual inspections at required times and intervals, and notify the Manufacturing Coordinator of any defects.
  • •Use data acquisition software to determine required gauging (if necessary) and keep accurate documentation during production runs.
  • •Properly package products per manufacturing specifications, record scrap, assist with machine startups/shutdowns/line clearances, and maintain a clean workstation.
