Job Summary

Lead requirements engineering for the FCAS-AP programme, helping establish the requirements strategy and the supporting plans and infrastructure for a next-generation combat air system. Own the Requirements Management Plan, govern delivery of the GCAP System Specification, and develop a digital requirements management approach. Partner with international industry and government stakeholders while applying requirements management and qualification practices across the full lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead development and ongoing management of the Requirements Management Plan, including consideration of through-life upgrades to the GCAP system.
•Own the process and governance for delivery of the GCAP System Specification.
•Lead the development of a digital requirements management approach for GCAP.
•Build and maintain effective working relationships with international partners across industry and government.
•Support requirements management and systems integration within the FCAS-AP team, reporting to the Requirements & Qualification Engineering Manager.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 59,491 annually

Key Requirements

•Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
•Systems engineering background with experience in requirements management and qualification.
•Good working knowledge of DOORS and/or Teamcenter.
•Solid understanding of technical requirements management across the full lifecycle from capture through verification and qualification.
•MBSE knowledge with experience modelling using SysML, UML, and/or the MOOD toolset.
