Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead with safety by adhering to and sponsoring safety and environmental rules and procedures.
  • •Inspect and examine mobile equipment, then install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and braking systems.
  • •Diagnose, dismantle, assemble, and align heavy mobile equipment including dozers, graders, haulage trucks, and loaders.
  • •Perform routine and preventative maintenance such as lubrication, seal replacement, cleaning parts during overhaul, and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
  • •Complete accurate work closure details recorded on work orders, maintain tools, coordinate with other trades and supervisors, and provide relief HE Supervisor support when required.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Journeyperson Heavy-Duty/Heavy-Equipment Mechanic certification, or 7+ years of proven experience in heavy industrial maintenance diagnosing, dismantling, assembling, and aligning heavy mobile equipment.
  • •Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • •Adhere to high safety standards and be able to work required day/afternoon/night shifts.
