Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand project requirements and collaborate with project owners, leaders, and global cross-functional teams using standard processes and project management principles.
  • •Ensure milestone/deliverable completion within quality, delivery, and cost targets; demonstrate proficiency in project management.
  • •Solve technical problems through concept reviews, critical design reviews, and technical discussions while managing multiple projects.
  • •Develop concepts and design/select components with suppliers, including component specifications for structural components and assemblies plus DFMEA and test plan development.
  • •Create and release engineering documentation (design, drawings, bill of materials, specifications) using PLM/PDM tools like ProE and Windchill; coordinate and implement design changes and lifecycle engineering fixes.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s in mechanical engineering (BE degree) or related specialization.
  • •5+ years of experience in component selection, system integration, concept development, design calculations, and lifecycle engineering in the relevant domain.
  • •Experience with product design and development phases, including hands-on DFMEA and test plan development, with exposure to prototypes/engineering builds and testing.
  • •Knowledge of metal and non-metal component design, assemblies, and manufacturing processes; basics of electrical systems/components are a plus.
  • •Ability to understand material properties for material selection and to drive root-cause problem solving using problem-solving tools.
