Job Summary

Join Motorola Solutions as a Senior System Engineer in Maryland, driving engineering design and delivery for multi-site public safety communications projects. Key Responsibilities

•Perform the Engineer of Record role on small to mid-sized projects
•Engineer multi-faceted projects including coverage/capacity design, RF LMR/BDA design, WAN network design, and Motorola ASTRO systems
•Conduct frequent interactions with customers/consultants for design reviews, system staging, testing events, and live upgrades
•Demonstrate professionalism in written and oral communications and own project timelines
•Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering teams, Technicians, and customers to ensure successful project execution

Travel: High travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or technical discipline with 3+ years of engineering or technical experience OR 5+ years of engineering or technical experience
•Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required
•Strong knowledge of RF principles, IP networking, and wireless systems
•Experience with RFDS, antenna/cable selection, and transmitter receivers; familiarity with power systems (generators, UPS, distribution)
•Ability to work remotely from a home office, lead customer-facing meetings, and coordinate with contractors and vendors
