Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote and ensure a safe working environment and public safety, complying with company policies and best practices.
  • •Manage closure of environmental liabilities, including former Manufactured Gas Plants (MGPs) and retired electric generating and gas storage/compressor stations.
  • •Assist with environmental due diligence reviews and coordinate consultants on remedial and waste management recommendations.
  • •Develop and oversee investigation studies and remedial actions, and coordinate inspections, environmental audits, and corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  • •Manage budgets/spend forecasting for environmental reserves and ARO estimates, track project information and risk, and represent the company with regulatory agencies.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 82,200 - 144,900 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in science, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
  • •3+ years (Coordinator 2) or 5+ years (Coordinator 3) in environmental remediation or compliance (or relatable environmental regulatory experience).
  • •Experience managing third-party consultants or vendors.
  • •Ability to develop and manage budgets and cash forecasts.
  • •Working knowledge of environmental/water/waste management requirements, including RCRA, CERCLA, NPDES, and SPCC, plus strong analytical and communication skills.
