Job Summary

Process and monitor high-risk wire and real-time payment activity for domestic and international clients, using Fedwire, CHIPS, and The Clearing House RTP networks. Authenticate customers, troubleshoot payment exceptions, route USD wires through clearing banks, and support commercial call inquiries. Monitor fraud/anti-money laundering activity and escalate concerns to Compliance as needed while researching issues across systems (Mobius, MTS, CRM, ACE, SWIFT, EDI, FTD) and helping improve operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Process inbound and outbound wire transfers and real-time payments, including customer authentication and handling payment special instructions.
•Monitor inbound/outbound fraud and anti-money laundering activity and escalate to Compliance/management as needed.
•Troubleshoot file/batch exceptions from electronic transmission failures and perform clearance/deletion activities based on research.
•Route international USD wire payments to third-party international clearing banks as instructed by clients.
•Support compliance and operational execution by using multiple servicing systems to research and resolve payment-related credit risk exceptions and inquiries.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or its equivalent.
•2 to 3 years of prior banking experience, preferably in Global Payments.
•PC skills including familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
•Strong organizational skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with 10-key is required.
