Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and tune whole-body controllers coordinating wheeled base motion with upper-body manipulation, including state-estimation and trajectory tracking.
  • •Develop low-level software interfaces between planning stacks and wheel/arm actuators ensuring deterministic, low-latency multi-DOF control.
  • •Drive transition of wheeled platforms to market readiness with safety-related speed monitoring and emergency stop logic in compliance with relevant standards.
  • •Collaborate with perception/autonomy teams to integrate mobile manipulation planners for seamless loco-manipulation behaviors.
  • •Lead field testing and validation of motion control across floor types, inclines, and payload configurations.
