Job Summary

Build and operate ByteDance’s global network-traffic infrastructure for edge services. Own production operations and stability assurance, improving delivery, change, and release efficiency. Design observability, troubleshooting, and automated/manual issue resolution systems, and implement an emergency response framework with risk governance and long-term optimization. Work across infrastructure architecture spanning Kubernetes, cloud networking, load balancing, and microservices to ensure scale, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and maintain ByteDance’s Network-Traffic Infrastructure and ensure stability.
•Deliver and run production systems, including change and release of facilities, components, and products, improving delivery and operational efficiency.
•Design and implement stability assurance systems with observability (monitoring/alerts/logging), troubleshooting (root cause analysis/impact assessment), and issue resolution (manual/self-healing).
•Design and implement an emergency response system, including ticket processing, emergency response, risk governance, and long-term optimization.
•Collaborate on infrastructure platform goals to improve scale, performance, and cost for global edge traffic infrastructure.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or related field, with at least 3 years of relevant R&D, system operation/maintenance, or SRE experience.
•Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture and technologies including Kubernetes, edge computing, cloud networking, load balancing, and microservice architecture.
•Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
•Practical operation and maintenance and stability assurance experience with Kubernetes, cloud computing, edge computing, and cloud networking.
•Experience with high availability, stability assurance, and emergency response systems for infrastructure or distributed systems.
