Job Summary

Lead the growth and delivery of freight railway infrastructure and facilities projects across Canada, anchored in Alberta. Drive strategic planning and operational execution for rail and transit infrastructure services, overseeing multi-site facilities operations and lifecycle asset performance. Partner with key client account teams (including CPKC and CN), ensuring complex projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget while mentoring multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high technical and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead delivery of freight rail infrastructure and facilities projects valued at $35M+ from concept through commissioning.
•Drive strategic planning, operational execution, and market growth for rail and transit infrastructure services across Canada.
•Partner with key account teams to strengthen relationships and expand business opportunities for major clients such as CPKC and CN.
•Oversee multi-site facilities operations, optimizing asset performance and lifecycle costs including building systems.
•Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget while maintaining technical and quality standards; mentor multidisciplinary teams.
•Champion compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across project phases and operational activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 162,200 - 212,200

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience in freight railway infrastructure engineering and operations.
•Proven track record delivering medium to large-scale infrastructure and facilities projects ($35M+) from design through commissioning.
•Strong leadership experience in civil engineering and facilities project management, including multi-site operations oversight.
•In-depth knowledge of Canadian health, safety, and environmental regulations.
•Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation in Canada or eligibility to obtain.
