Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic oversight and continuous improvement for community- and peer-support programs across multiple units.
  • •Serve as a liaison and advisor to USSOCOM and Component CRCs; assess needs, plan, implement, coordinate, and monitor peer mentoring programs.
  • •Advise and consult on regionwide and component-wide policy and procedural reviews of community and peer mentoring programs; recommend improvements based on efficacy.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary staff and external agencies to align services, evaluate utilization, and identify areas for improvement.
  • •Assist in training peer mentors and CRCs, including consultation across Component Commands, and aggregate/report program feedback to HQ.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in education, human/social services, or a related field, or four (4) years’ experience providing social service education or work/family life consultation/coordination services.
  • •Minimum four (4) years’ experience coordinating social service education programs.
  • •Specialized training on peer support counseling, community resources and referrals, and suicide prevention (or willingness to receive it).
  • •Have or be able to obtain Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
  • •U.S. citizenship required.
