Job Summary

Administer GitHub and Artifactory for engineers globally, and architect secure, modern development environments. Support those tools, develop automation processes, and modernize tool usage with AI. Evaluate and onboard new tooling, while learning DevOps concepts and cloud services (AWS, Azure, and GCP). Work within the IT Software Engineering Tools Team (SwEET) supporting thousands of software engineers and improving productivity and innovation.

Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Administer GitHub and Artifactory tools globally for MSI engineers worldwide.
•Architect and implement mechanisms that enforce secure, modern development environments using those tools.
•Support the tools and ensure they enable faster, more agile development workflows.
•Develop automation processes to improve tool usage and operational efficiency.
•Assist in evaluating, onboarding, and supporting new tools; use AI to modernize tool usage.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Practical administration knowledge of GitHub, Artifactory (or similar) with an architecture mindset.
•Advanced GitHub and Artifactory user experience.
•Practical knowledge of CI/CD systems.
•DevOps knowledge across OS, cloud infrastructure, and networking.
•Basic programming skills in Python, Groovy, and shell scripting, including writing GitHub pipelines.
