Job Summary

Lead and support delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle. Manage scope, programme, budget, risk, change, and stakeholder needs, and administer NEC4 ECC contracts to drive commercial and contractual performance. Work with client teams, technical specialists, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver major investment programmes in the regulated water sector, championing best practice in safety, quality, sustainability, and continual improvement while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead or support delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects through all stages of the project lifecycle.
•Manage scope, programme, budget, risk, change, and stakeholder requirements to achieve successful project outcomes.
•Administer and manage NEC4 ECC contracts to ensure effective commercial and contractual performance.
•Work closely with client teams, technical specialists, contractors, and key stakeholders to drive project success.
•Mentor and support junior team members while championing best practice in project management, safety, quality, sustainability, and continual improvement.

Key Requirements

•Be a Full Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM) or hold an equivalent recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP or similar).
•Have (or be actively working towards) Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) status via APM.
•Demonstrate experience delivering multidisciplinary water sector projects (e.g., treatment works, network infrastructure, pumping stations, flood resilience, environmental improvement, AMP programmes).
•Show proven experience managing projects through the full lifecycle, delivering scope, programme, budget, risk and quality objectives.
•Have strong commercial awareness, including NEC4 ECC contract management experience or accreditation, plus stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
