Job Summary

Deliver state-certified Career Exploration and elective course content to grades 6-8 in an online environment. Guide students’ learning process, differentiate instruction by mastery, and maintain grade books and academic integrity. Monitor progress in Stride K12’s learning management system, communicate regularly with students and families, and support troubleshooting in virtual classrooms. Collaborate with principals/coaches and prepare students for standardized testing while applying state, national, and industry learning standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students in an online environment.
•Differentiate instruction based on student mastery and personalize learning for all students.
•Use prescribed policies and procedures to augment course content using appropriate online tools.
•Maintain grade book, make placement/promotion decisions, and alert administrators to student performance and progress concerns.
•Communicate regularly with students, learning coaches/parents, and support virtual classroom troubleshooting; travel as required for professional development and testing.
