Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce accurate, comprehensive estimates in a timely and efficient manner, controlling and managing estimating at project level.
  • •Produce estimates without management or supervision.
  • •Evaluate design changes, maintain baseline cost, and challenge contractors’ estimates.
  • •Support the development and promotion of estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend.
  • •Stay abreast of developments in your technical expertise and contribute to regional Estimating Hub development.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience.
  • •Wide and varied experience of construction projects, preferably including some onshore oil and gas experience.
  • •Proven experience providing estimating and/or QS services in a large project environment.
  • •Understanding of project management, planning, risk and investment processes.
  • •Capacity to use RIB Construction Suite/iTWO to an intermediate user standard, with chartered professional body membership and/or degree-level education (preferred in quantity surveying).
