Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide support to the maintenance team on calibration, measurement, and machining for production areas, infrastructure, and utilities.
  • •Carry out planned and reactive maintenance for the site and provide feedback and reports for completed tasks.
  • •Maintain all relevant documentation correctly.
  • •Carry out tasks in accordance with SHE policies, safe systems of work, risk assessments, and permit systems.
  • •Participate in continuous improvement activities and energy reduction campaigns as required.

Salary: GBP 40,677

Key Requirements

  • •Time served apprentice in a Mechanical discipline via an approved body or organisation.
  • •Excellent understanding of engineering drawings.
  • •Demonstrable experience using measurement and calibration equipment, including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), shadowgraphs, Vickers hardness testers, metroscopes, and torque testing equipment.
  • •Highly skilled in operating a range of machine shop equipment including CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, grinding equipment, and Hydrobore machinery.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of safety systems, risk assessments, and permit systems; computer literate.
