Job Summary

Help strengthen fraud and AML decisioning by translating fraud patterns into rule proposals, supporting rule testing and deployment, and monitoring rule performance. You’ll work closely with decisioning tools and rule engines to tune thresholds, review alert behavior, and ensure fraud controls remain effective, explainable, and proportionate. Partner across FraudOps, AML, Product, Engineering, Data, Compliance, and Legal to improve speed, resilience, and quality in the fraud rule lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the end-to-end fraud rule lifecycle, including proposal and analysis, testing, deployment, monitoring, tuning, and rollback.
•Work with decisioning tools and rule engines to support fraud detection logic.
•Analyze fraud patterns, alert trends, false positives/false negatives, and rule performance to improve controls.
•Translate FraudOps insights and stakeholder requests into clear, structured rule proposals supported by data.
•Maintain documentation and monitor post-deployment rule performance, coordinating with cross-functional teams to keep controls aligned and risk-aware.

Key Requirements

•Experience as a Fraud Analyst, Risk Analyst, Fraud Rules Analyst, Decisioning Analyst, or similar.
•Hands-on experience with a decisioning tool, fraud rules engine, risk platform, or internal decisioning system.
•Experience creating, testing, monitoring, or tuning fraud rules, thresholds, scenarios, or risk logic.
•Strong analytical skills using data to assess rule performance and fraud patterns, including false positives and false negatives.
•Good understanding of fraud typologies (especially card fraud, transaction fraud, account misuse, or payment fraud) and ability to communicate rule logic clearly.
