Lead an autonomous team of software engineers within R&D, partnering closely with Product, Design/UX, DevOps, and other teams to deliver business goals in a complex payments environment. You’ll provide hands-on technical leadership and take ownership of system design, development, architecture, code quality, and production deployment. Leverage deep server-side expertise, modern backend patterns, and strong managerial experience to grow the team and raise engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate closely with Product, Design/UX, DevOps, and other R&D teams.
•Lead an autonomous team of software engineers aligned with product management to achieve business goals.
•Provide hands-on technical authority and leadership to the team.
•Own the overall design, development, architecture, and code quality for the team.
•Ensure production environment deployment for the team’s systems.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience as a server-side developer (DB to UI) using C#, REST APIs, and asynchronous communication with queues/streams.
•3+ years of experience with advanced SQL (MSSQL/Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL, etc.).
•2+ years of managerial experience is required.
•Broad knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
•Experience with engineering best practices (code reviews, testing coverage, agile methodologies).
