Job Summary

Lead the Trane Contracting Engineering & Estimating development programs to support Energy Services and Controls growth. Create and maintain standard work, advanced training, onboarding, and assessments, using Voice of Customer/Field and market/competitive analysis to define needs and requirements. Manage multiple projects through development and deployment across field offices, including tools, documentation, presentations, and post-launch execution while coordinating with enablement business owners and regional leaders.

•Define, develop, and deploy development programs including standard work, training, onboarding, and assessments to support Energy Services and Controls growth.
•Manage multiple contracting engineering and estimating projects through development to improved profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
•Create standard work and development tools for Controls Engineering Specialist and Controls Estimating roles, including career paths and skills assessments.
•Lead teams to design and develop deployment materials such as presentations, workshops, and control plans; create process maps and narratives.
•Provide program management through post-launch and execute control plans while mentoring estimators and engineering specialists and communicating status verbally and in writing.

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,900 - 164,675 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of contracting experience, or 10 years of work experience in contracting process or management.
•Project management experience managing deployment and transition.
•Proficient use of lean tools including A3s, affinity diagrams, FMEAs, and leader standard work.
•Ability to explain complex technical concepts to widely varied audiences.
•Instructional design/development experience is preferred.
