Job Summary

Lead sustainability (environmental and social responsibility) initiatives by applying advanced ESG best practices and internal guidelines to solve complex sustainability problems. Serve as a resource for less-experienced colleagues, manage sustainability workstreams, and support contract and vendor work tied to sustainability projects. Prepare reporting metrics, oversee compliance with applicable standards, and deliver executive-level ESG briefings using FigBytes analytics.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop sustainability reporting guidelines, protocols, and metrics to track sustainability performance measures.
•Create contract scopes and evaluate RFQs/RFPs for sustainability projects, including implementing sustainable design standards.
•Manage sustainability workstreams and collaborate with internal teams to align initiatives with Science-Based Targets and environmental goals.
•Develop and implement social responsibility and national content plans, including community investment, stakeholder engagement, grievance management, and human rights activities.
•Conduct ESG-related analysis, lead compliance training, improve FigBytes platform analytics, and provide executive-level ESG briefings and support audits/assurance for annual reporting.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field (or relevant work experience).
•Master’s degree in Sustainability, Social Responsibility, International Development, Human Rights, or similar is strongly preferred.
•5+ years of professional experience coordinating programs, performing analyses, developing programs, and negotiating contracts, preferably in sustainability or energy management contexts.
•Experience developing National Content Plans for different countries/projects.
•Knowledge of environmental sustainability principles, including laws and requirements related to sustainability and alternative energy (e.g., solar, battery storage, green buildings).
