Key Responsibilities

  • •Load and unload carriers, operate staging elevator and transfer conveyors, and transport materials within the department as required.
  • •Move, stack, and deliver parts, castings, assemblies, material, and supplies to/from proper destinations and storage areas.
  • •Handle skids and containers with focus on safe stacking and efficient use of space.
  • •Perform equipment-related duties such as changing LP gas tanks and checking/replenishing battery water; make simple hookups to charging apparatus.
  • •Count and sort parts by hand, keep operators and assemblers supplied, administer the 5’s, maintain a clean work area, and report issues to supervision.
