Job Summary

Design, build, automate, operate, and continuously improve the security platforms powering MSSP Security Operations Centre services. Own end-to-end platform capabilities across SIEM, XDR, SOAR, security data pipelines, threat intelligence, cloud security, identity protection, and SecOps automation. Lead platform architecture, telemetry ingestion, detection enablement, SOAR playbooks, lifecycle upgrades, and customer onboarding from integration through SOC handover.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement MSSP-grade security platform architectures for multi-customer SOC service delivery.
•Build and maintain security telemetry ingestion and data pipelines, including parsing, normalization, schema mapping, enrichment, routing, retention, and data quality controls.
•Design and implement SOAR playbooks and integrate security platforms using APIs and connectors to automate SOC workflows.
•Enable detection engineering by supporting MITRE ATT&CK-aligned coverage, telemetry gap analysis, purple-team validation, and Detection-as-Code practices.
•Own the platform lifecycle, patching, and upgrades for SOC platforms and integrations; manage pre- and post-upgrade validation and customer onboarding through SOC handover.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of cybersecurity engineering, security platform engineering, SOC engineering, security data engineering, or security infrastructure experience.
•3+ years hands-on experience designing, deploying, maintaining, or upgrading SIEM and/or SOAR platforms in an enterprise, MSSP, MDR, SOC, or security consulting environment.
•Hands-on experience with at least one major SIEM platform such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Cortex XSIAM, Google SecOps, FortiSIEM, or QRadar.
•Hands-on experience with at least one SOAR or automation platform such as Cortex XSOAR, FortiSOAR, Splunk SOAR, Microsoft Sentinel automation, Azure Logic Apps, or Google SecOps SOAR.
•Experience with agent deployment and patching, collector and forwarder management, connector updates, platform upgrades, change control, rollback planning, and production validation.
