Job Summary

Senior Gas Process Engineer with responsibility for technical leadership in gas processing unit design, process optimization, and technology evaluation. Provides support to operating plants, mentors engineers, and leads capacity studies and debottlenecking efforts, using Aspen HYSYS/Promax simulations and coordinating with engineering teams and vendors in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical support for gas processing operating plants and troubleshoot major plant upsets or chronic operational problems, identifying improvement opportunities and remedies.
•Provide technical lead in evaluating Gas Processing technologies to improve plant performance.
•Develop plans and road maps for reviewing and incorporating new technologies including preliminary economics.
•Conduct simulation studies using process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS) and use process models for capacity assessments and bottleneck identification.
•Prepare preliminary scope of work (process schematic and equipment list) to debottleneck existing facilities or design new facilities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
•10 years of experience in Gas Processing, including at least 3 years of field experience
•Membership in a recognized professional institute is preferred
•Minimum 10 years of experience in Gas processing (Gas Treatment, Acid Gas Enrichment, NGL Recovery, Gas dehydration, LNG, LPG, Sulfur Recovery)
•Minimum 3 years of field experience with Gas Processing Facilities, including startup and troubleshooting
