Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the software development phase for avionics Flight Display Systems, including requirement capturing, design, coding, and verification/validation to meet Business Line requirements within schedule and budget.
  • •Develop platform and application software with understanding of complex architectures, scheduling, multi-thread development, and RTOS for avionics systems according to DO178B/C.
  • •Perform peer reviews of high-level specifications and development artifacts, and demonstrate technical capabilities across software projects.
  • •Debug, fix bugs, implement enhancements, and perform hands-on regression/free-hands testing on existing features.
  • •Ensure quality deliveries before handoff to QA, participate in Agile development phases, and contribute to processes, tools, metrics, and new product/lean-process ideas.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication or equivalent, with 7 to 12 years of relevant experience.
  • •Expertise in Embedded C programming, memory usage, and scheduling/execution time allocation.
  • •Good understanding of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) and RTOS.
  • •Strong unit-testing and verification experience using RTRT or LDRA (or other testing tools), plus system/test specification writing.
  • •Knowledge of DO178B/C and coding standards such as MISRA, along with configuration management experience (clearcase or git).
