Job Summary

Drive institutional repo revenue by deepening relationships with senior treasury and funding stakeholders, positioning HSBC as a leading repo provider, and growing wallet share. Deliver structured repo solutions across term/open/specials, cross-currency and triparty, while using desk metrics and data to originate and upsell. Lead performance against targets, champion digital migration and automation for settlement and collateral workflows, and maintain market integrity through strong risk, conduct and control.

Key Responsibilities

•Deepen relationships with senior client decision-makers to develop insight on liquidity, funding, collateral and capital optimisation.
•Grow revenue and wallet share by positioning HSBC as a leading repo provider, originating business and upselling adjacent solutions using relationships and desk metrics.
•Advise clients with strategic and tactical repo insights, delivering structured solutions including margin and collateral upgrades across relevant repo types.
•Champion digital migration and automation across allocations, settlement, and collateral/margin workflows; trial new tools and use analytics to drive innovation and client demos.
•Own performance against targets through inclusive people leadership, align stakeholders to optimise execution, and strengthen risk, conduct and control in client engagement.

Key Requirements

•Proven institutional sales leadership experience within Markets and/or Securities Services, delivering sustainable revenue growth and client penetration.
•Strong institutional client coverage with senior stakeholder management, needs-based solutioning, and ability to originate and convert opportunities.
•Deep product and markets knowledge relevant to Markets and Securities Services (MSS) and institutional clients, partnering effectively with trading and product teams through execution.
•Strong understanding of risk, conduct and control expectations in a front-office environment, including AML/sanctions and supervisory standards.
•Demonstrated matrix leadership and people leadership, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and creating an inclusive, high-performance culture.
