Key Responsibilities

  • •Weigh and grade incoming scrap loads by operating inbound scales, identifying contents, and directing customers to unloading areas.
  • •Operate outbound scales by identifying commodity codes and computing ticket totals for payment.
  • •Coordinate accurate and timely documentation of purchasing transactions and complete required DMV forms for vehicles entering the yard.
  • •Communicate scrap quality and acceptance procedures to customers while supporting Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
  • •Test scale accuracy, report equipment malfunctions, and support internal control responsibilities including compliance and escalation of policy violations.

Key Requirements
