Job Summary

Lead technical delivery across the sales cycle for cybersecurity solutions, from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs and hands-on POCs. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, translating security and networking requirements into competitive proposals. Maintain deep product and competitive knowledge, present solutions (remote or in person), and manage deal priorities while keeping accurate technical account information in Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, including project management and participation in POCs with internal and customer/commercial partner teams.
•Understand customer technical requirements and build solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
•Act as primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in close collaboration with sales.
•Continuously improve knowledge of Fortinet products/solutions and the competitive landscape to support long-lasting protection against evolving threats.
•Position Fortinet solutions through remote or in-person communication and maintain accurate CRM technical activity for customers and prospects.

Key Requirements

•High aptitude for security technology, including encryption and authentication, with knowledge of network security and routing/switching (LAN/WAN desirable).
•Experience in a pre-sales engineering role owning end-to-end technical aspects of deals through technical closure.
•Ability to solve problems and demonstrate impact on key wins.
•Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical information to external and internal stakeholders.
•Strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPsec, firewall, 802.1Q, and cryptography/protocols including MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES; CISSP beneficial.
