Job Summary

Support Puma’s taxation team with compliance, reporting, and advisory across direct and indirect taxes. Assist in filing direct and indirect returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax), handling GST compliance activities and notices, and working on TDS calculations, reconciliations, and audit support. Help with tax provisioning and deferred tax calculations while ensuring statutory timelines. Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, and Legal and contribute to process improvements and automation in tax reporting.

•Assist in preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
•Support GST compliance activities such as return filing, reconciliations, and handling notices.
•Perform TDS calculations, filings, and reconciliations with books.
•Assist in tax audits and assessments by preparing documentation.
•Support tax provisioning and deferred tax calculations, ensuring statutory compliance timelines and coordinating on tax-related data.

Key Requirements

•Pursuing CA (ICAI) with eligibility to undergo industrial training as per institute guidelines.
•Strong academic record with solid conceptual understanding of taxation.
•Proficient in MS Excel; comfortable using spreadsheets for analysis and reporting.
•Working knowledge of SAP ERP (advantage).
•Sharp analytical mindset with clear, confident communication skills; able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
