Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate material availability to support production schedules and shipyard operations.
  • •Monitor inventory levels and manage movement of materials between warehouse and production areas.
  • •Review material requirements and shortage reports, proactively identifying and escalating risks.
  • •Maintain accurate inventory data and reporting within ERP systems to support operational performance and decision-making.
  • •Ensure compliance with safety requirements and company procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material control processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience as a Material Controller, Production Liaison, or similar role in supply chain, manufacturing, shipbuilding, or heavy industrial environments.
  • •Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across Supply Chain, Production, and Warehousing.
  • •Ability to identify, investigate, and proactively resolve material and supply chain issues to minimise impacts on production schedules.
  • •Experience interpreting and delivering accurate reports and insights for operational planning, inventory management, and business performance.
  • •A continuous improvement mindset focused on enhancing material flow, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
