Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain compliance with applicable OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, and other regulatory requirements.
  • •Collaborate with department leadership on job hazard assessments and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
  • •Monitor employee exposure to physical and chemical hazards and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards.
  • •Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • •Conduct environmental compliance and due diligence audits, including NPDES/discharge permits, recordkeeping for permitted sources, hazardous/non-hazardous waste management, and emergency contingency planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree.
  • •5+ years of experience designing, developing, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) disciplines or a relevant engineering field.
  • •Ability to implement and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
  • •Experience in both environmental and safety fields, including familiarity with machine guarding and industrial hygiene programs.
  • •Strong organizational and communication skills.
