Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the Electrical and I&C discipline CAD lead for projects of all sizes, overseeing electrical and I&C deliverables.
  • •Perform complex CAD tasks and coordinate production of drawings, collaborating to resolve interface issues and create integrated digital project content.
  • •Act as lead discipline CAD designer, managing execution by maintaining task budgets, staffing plans, and schedule updates.
  • •Prepare bills of materials and quantity takeoffs, using data sources such as laser scans, vendor files, LiDAR surfaces, and survey points for project modeling.
  • •Contribute to proposal/business development, maintain group standards, verify peer work, and participate in meetings (including occasional travel).

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS with 6+ years of relevant power or industrial experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Understanding/experience in electrical and instrumentation design and technology principles.
  • •5+ years as discipline CAD lead, including success leading remote teams/high value centers.
  • •Experience using and integrating data sets into 3D models (e.g., laser scans, LiDAR) and proficiency with coordinate systems/data transformation.
  • •Experience with electrical design deliverables and common data environments (e.g., ProjectWise, BIM 360, ACC) and CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
