Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate receipt and shipment of vehicles, equipment, and repair parts turned in by Army units.
  • •Develop and manage shipment schedules to avoid bottlenecks during mass turn-in operations.
  • •Liaise with unit supply personnel, warehouse staff, and drivers to ensure smooth cargo flow.
  • •Prepare and process shipping/receiving documents (DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 1149, bills of lading, TCMDs, load plans) and enter movement data into Army systems.
  • •Provide daily and weekly movement status reports and track performance metrics such as on-time shipments and transit delays.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma preferred; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation preferred.
  • •3–5 years of transportation or logistics coordination (Army contractor or military environment strongly preferred).
  • •Experience supporting Army turn-in or SSA operations highly desirable.
  • •Knowledge of Army regulations (AR 55-355, AR 710-2, AR 735-5) and DTR 4500.9-R.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility; must receive favorable background check and drug testing results.
