Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure currency and accuracy of the Government Property Management System (GPMS) by processing and coding documentation from PSA/equipment sources.
  • •Apply correct GPMS transactions for property activity and reconcile GPMS inputs for archiving.
  • •Process inventory activities, including opening/closing inventory reports, maintaining contractor transfer responsibilities, and conducting audits and quality checks.
  • •Serve as primary control representative for NASA artifacts and maintain GPMS coverage for active and inactive equipment loans.
  • •Interface with NASA centers, agencies, and contract personnel to establish, reallocate, and terminate loan accounts; prepare routine and special reports and ensure correspondence routing.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree and 5 years of experience, or 7 years of equivalent experience without a degree.
  • •Must be a US Citizen or legal resident alien status and satisfy a federal government background investigation requirement.
  • •Must pass a background investigation and be granted access/clearance to Marshall Space Flight Center.
  • •REAL ID and a valid driver's license with acceptable driving history to operate company vehicles.
  • •Position is contingent upon funding; selected applicants may not begin until funding is confirmed.
