Job Summary

Oversee month-end closing and audit processes for multiple European legal entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and reports. Lead and develop a team of 4–6 accountants, supervise monthly reconciliations for P&L and balance sheet items, and ensure compliance with local tax regulations. Partner with local, regional, and HQ finance teams to implement process improvements, support ERP initiatives, and drive analysis of performance versus the business plan.

•Supervise the month-end closing process for legal entities in Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Poland.
•Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and audit submissions; collaborate with external auditors.
•Lead and manage a team of 4–6 accountants across local and international markets.
•Review and approve monthly reconciliations for both balance sheet (BS) and profit and loss (P&L).
•Drive process improvements with Accounting PMO and support local ERP and finance projects, including preparing ad hoc P&L vs business plan analysis.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, etc.).
•8+ years of accounting experience for multinational companies.

•Hands-on experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing processes.
•Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP/IFRS, with fluent English and proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
