Lead the pre-construction, construction, commissioning and handover of a hyperscale data center, focusing on mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with top quality. Act as Owner’s representative onsite in Fredericia, Denmark, coordinating design alignment, procurement, subcontractors and client communications to meet performance criteria.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage mechanical pre-construction activities, including constructability reviews, design localization, procurement and contracts, and budgeting to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
•Oversee mechanical construction activities on site, ensuring work is completed to specification, on time and within budget, with strong safety practices.
•Supervise mechanical system installations (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) and ensure alignment with design intent and client expectations.
•Provide technical guidance for mechanical installations, ensuring contract documents and regional specifications are followed; manage on-site contractors and vendors.
•Oversee commissioning and handover of mechanical systems, including testing, documentation (test reports, as-builts, O&M manuals) and client handover.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
•Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical project management on construction sites, including data center projects.
•Proven experience managing large, complex mechanical systems installations and commissioning processes.
•Expertise in mechanical systems used in data centers (HVAC, cooling, fire suppression, energy management).
•Experience with Owner’s Representation and working directly with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
