Job Summary

Conduct routine analytical testing using defined methods to support recycling, wastewater, and raw material production. Sample and prepare materials, operate and maintain analytical instrumentation (including ICP OES and/or MS), and manage accurate lab data and reporting. Maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment, follow safety and waste-handling procedures, support method development with laboratory management, and assist with continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct routine analysis under supervision using defined methods in support of recycling, wastewater, and raw material production.
•Sample and prepare materials, and operate and maintain ICP OES and/or MS instrumentation (or equivalent).
•Maintain complete and accurate records and perform data management, including transcription to spreadsheets and other software.
•Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment to protect sample integrity, and work safely while reporting safety issues.
•Support laboratory management in developing new analytical methods and conduct projects to support continuous improvement.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 18.89 - 26.44 hourly

Key Requirements

•Associate degree in chemistry or closely related field.
•At least 3 years’ experience in an analytical laboratory environment (or academic equivalent).
•Proven chemical analysis competency, including ICP analysis and polymer characterization (preferred).
•Ability to prepare samples/standards and perform analyses, including wet and solid sample preparation.
•Intermediate knowledge of standard software including MS Office suite and JMP, with good communication skills.
