Key Responsibilities

  • •Record project business transactions in the accounting register (GL) in compliance with reporting/accounting standards and company policies.
  • •Prepare monthly trial balances, ensure accurate and timely books closing, and perform monthly accruals and provisions.
  • •Maintain accounting system integrity and support external audit processes for periodical financial statements.
  • •Prepare monthly aging reports for accounts receivable and payable and perform reconciliations for bank accounts, customers/vendors, and balance sheet accounts.
  • •Act as focal point for tax authorities: prepare, file, and manage tax reporting and payment in line with applicable laws, maintaining separate tax books as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with a mandatory professional qualification ACCA (or equivalent).
  • •4–6 years’ experience in accounting within infrastructure, construction, or project environments.
  • •Strong IFRS knowledge with hands-on experience across GL, reporting, AP/AR, reconciliations, and audits.
  • •Experience in tax compliance, cash flow management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • •Solid understanding of accounting systems and internal controls, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced project environment.
