Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute Wise’s BAAM framework to monitor risks around bank accounts, user access, and payment activities in a SOX control environment.
  • •Manage BAAM daily operations, including onboarding and off-boarding processes for bank accounts within Wise’s internal infrastructure.
  • •Maintain accurate internal records for counterparties, bank accounts, authorised signatories, and user accesses in relevant systems.
  • •Review and ensure timely closure of BAAM tickets and requests, and prepare periodic BAAM reporting on operations and control effectiveness.
  • •Collaborate with Product and Engineering, plus internal and external auditors, to address audit requests and improve BAAM documentation and processes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 3,100 - 4,100 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •At least 2 years of proven experience in treasury or audit in a SOX control environment, with strong risk and control principles in a fast-paced organisation.
  • •In-depth understanding of treasury operational risk management, treasury best practices, and SOX requirements.
  • •Experience opening & closing bank accounts and managing user accesses and authorised signatories, or experience in financial audit/control testing in these areas.
  • •Experience managing a high number of bank accounts (500+) across different regions and setting up a control governance framework.
  • •Relevant professional qualifications such as ACT, CIMA, ACCA, or ACA are desirable (not mandatory).
