Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete initial safety check/inspection of the yard truck and document results on the inspection form.
  • •Communicate constantly with the supervisor and receiving team to coordinate trucks needing to be backed in and out of the receiving dock.
  • •Monitor the radio continuously and respond immediately to requests from the supervisor or shipping & receiving team members.
  • •Assist receiving team members in unloading trailers as needed.
  • •Provide timely communication to the supervisor about any issues during the shift.
