Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, build, and maintain highly scalable backend services in a microservices, event-driven architecture.
  • •Own and evolve API standards (RESTful, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2) and build developer-friendly tools, SDKs, and reference implementations.
  • •Conduct code reviews, participate in domain modeling (DDD), and mentor junior engineers with engineering best practices.
  • •Collaborate with Product Managers, Implementation Managers, Solutions Engineers, and partner teams to define features and shape technical solutions.
  • •Work across frontend and infrastructure stacks to align decentralized engineering teams with API standards and architecture patterns.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade public APIs using RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and OAuth2.
  • •Extensive backend experience with Java and Spring Boot for resilient microservices.
  • •Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar) and relational database design/optimization (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • •Strong architectural knowledge, including domain-driven design (DDD), microservices patterns, and building for high availability and low latency.
  • •A product mindset and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
