Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, implement, and deliver the full software stack controlling a subsystem and integrating into the main system.
  • •Design and implement software components for equipment control, including chamber subsystems, recipe interface/execution logic, and API/communication interfaces to the main frame.
  • •Implement real-time communication over EtherCAT, integrate safety circuits, and provide robust APIs, synchronization, device synchronization, error/safety signaling, logging, and system status monitoring.
  • •Act as the primary software technical contact for suppliers and coordinate integration with supplier software teams.
  • •Serve as software technical lead: drive design decisions and standards, coordinate integration across ME/EE/SW, and mentor other contributors.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years hands-on experience with instrumentation.
  • •Mastery on C#, modern C++ and Python.
  • •Production level experience with EtherCAT, motion control, and configuring safety logics.
  • •Extensive software architecture design and project management skills.
  • •Experience in field of semiconductor/automation equipment control or robotics (plus familiarity with optical imaging systems or FPGA programming).
