•Design and drive the API Platform to treat APIs as first-class products, ensuring reliability and developer-friendly experiences across Xero's API and SDK surfaces.
•Collaborate with product, engineering, and ecosystem teams to deliver on the API pillar of the technical strategy, supporting AI, mobile, and external integrations.
•Champion modern engineering practices and coach engineers to raise the bar in platform reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
•Lead efforts to consolidate the tech stack using the Supergraph model and evolve interfaces with stable contracts and typed interfaces.
•Partner across domains to ensure cohesive API contracts and strong collaboration for shared objectives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 173,900 - 217,400 annually
