Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide direct engineering interface to NAVFAC DM and POWER PM and support field problem mitigation.
  • •Support design efforts including risk identification and proactive mitigation through design.
  • •Identify necessary permits and help secure necessary permits; prepare design documents/work packages as tasked.
  • •Provide onsite support with direct reach-back to resolve unforeseen condition challenges; investigate field issues and propose alternate solutions.
  • •Review contractor submittals for spec/drawing conformance, review commissioning plans, answer RFIs, and perform redline drawing reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Structural) from an accredited US university or college, or relevant.
  • •Minimum 15 years of experience with field engineering or related disciplines.
  • •Professional Engineering registration required.
  • •US citizenship required due to client requirements; ability to gain access to US military bases required.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and MS Project; experience with Blue-Beam, AutoCAD, and Procore is a plus.
