Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage Operational Excellence functions across ~20 sites in Germany, including launches, continuous improvement, business process improvement, BI, strategic PMO, HSEQ touchpoints, and site security.
  • •Own planning, management, and control of Operational Excellence budgets (labor/non-labor), including forecasts, revisions, and actuals.
  • •Ensure successful launch of new contracts and sites using a standardized project implementation methodology, delivering on scope, budget, timeline, and risk targets.
  • •Drive change management and prevent scope creep and revenue leakage; monitor and improve performance using customer KPIs and global operational standards.
  • •Lead continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma (5S, Kaizen, Gemba, GSA), oversee WMS deployment/adoption and reporting tools, and improve profitability including low-margin optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience in Contract Logistics, ideally with accountability for operational and financial performance within the automotive sector.
  • •Proven ability to lead operational excellence and drive continuous improvement initiatives across sites and functions.
  • •Strong knowledge of financial and productivity metrics with commercial thinking to develop effective business solutions.
  • •Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across business lines, customers, and partners.
  • •Fluency in both German and English is required.
